The Groundbreaking ceremony for Pioneer Community Hospital of Choctaw is scheduled for January 27th at 1:30 PM and the site of the new facility. The public is cordially invited to attend a Reception at the Ackerman Community Center at 2:00 PM. Senator Alan Nunnelee will be the guest speaker and refreshments will be provided.

Pioneer Community Hospital of Choctaw Swing Bed Program
Swing Bed (or Skilled Nursing Care) is a Medicare program designed to provide additional inpatient care to those needing extra time to heal or strengthen. The term "Swing Bed" refers the the use of hospital beds for either acute or skilled nursing care. Our Swing Bed Program offers a much needed service for patients who no longer need acute hospital care but do need skilled nursing or therapy care to complete their recovery.
